The following tutorial will guide you through the adding a Product option

1. First login to your cart by following the instructions e-mailed to you. In order to add a product correctly you need to first create the category for the product you will be adding. Adding your categories is the first and most important step. If you have done this step then you are ready to add a product, otherwise click here to go back to the Shopping Cart Support Main Page. |
| On the "Products" menu that appears on the left of the cart manager, click on "Add Product |

| 2. This step will show you a sample image below followed by explanations of each field that you will need to fill out. To demonstrate this option we are using a sample from one of our demo stores found at (http://www.qnetww.com/democart/perfumedemo/online_store/) |
| Explanations for each field: |

Category: Here you will choose the category that you created for the product you will be adding from the dropdown menu that appears. Remember you must first add categories to your cart before adding products. |

| Product Name: In this field put a small description for your product or a name |

| Price: Here you will put the product price, if you are using our shopping cart as a catalog and will not be using prices then simply leave this option blank. |

| Description: This part is very important because it will show your customers information regarding the product you are selling. Just type a detailed description for the product. With the help of the text editor you will be able to customize the description to meet your needs. |

| Image File: Putting the image name is a simple process. First upload the image or images using the PC2WEB Image resize software. You should have received instructions on this and the configuration. Our best advice is to keep the image names simple. Please keep in mind that images on the internet can't contain spaces. The image name has to be one word, numbers, or it can be 2 words if you use the symbol underscore "_" to separate the words as in the sample that appears in the "Additional Image" field from the sample below. Another important thing to remember is that you need to put the complete image name for example if the image is named "shoes3" then you need to put in the "Image File" field "shoes3.jpg". It needs to have the extension of the image. If you want to add a second image then replace the sample image and follow the same steps above. Adding a second image is a great feature to use to show front and back of a product, or a more detail part of a product. |

| NEW Product: This feature is great to personalize a new product you have added to your store. Once you turn this feature on a small icon will appear next to the product with the name "NEW". This will make this product stand out and will also let your customer know that it is new in your store. We can always customize for a small fee the image for you to something that will meet your business needs. |

| Option File: This a great feature to use, the option file will allow you to have additional options for a product. For example if you are selling clothes and you have different sizes of a particular shirt then the customer will be able to select the size of the shirt from the options that appear below the product. If there is a charge for the option that they will choose the shopping cart will calculate the total. |

| Shipping Weight: Here you would put the weight of the product you are adding. The shipping part of the cart is customized on a per customer basis, since there is no set way to ship products for all companies, everyone's shipping varies. The default setup uses the USPS (United States Postal Service) Shipping configuration. |

| Inventory Control: This is the final field in adding a product. This field is used when you have a certain amount of products on hand and do not want customers to over order what you don't have. This is a great way to control your inventory since your customers will get this message when they try to add a product that you ran out of "Can't order more then are available!". This message can also be customized to meet your business needs. If you don't want to use this feature or are not sure, simply leave this field blank, you can always come back and change it. |
