What is IMAP?

IMAP-based Email gives you access to electronic mail that remains stored on a mail server until you delete it. You can act on Email stored on an IMAP server from your computer at home and from another computer at the office.

When traveling, you can get to your mail from your laptop or from any computer with a Web browser. All this without having to transfer messages or files back and forth among the computers.
